Synopsis
More than 8,000 soldiers from six NATO Allied and partner nations are taking part in an exercise that spans across Bulgaria, Hungary and Romania. Saber Guardian 2019 is co-led by Romanian Land Forces and U.S. Army Europe. The exercise included a range of activities designed to improve the integration of multinational forces. Countries taking part include Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, and the United States. Saber Guardian 2019 runs from 3 until 24 June.
