SOUNDBITE --(ENGLISH)-- COMMANDER JUSTIN HAINS, UK ROYAL NAVY
“I’ve got the best job in the world. Every day, it’s an immense privilege to command a multinational task group.
Every ship comes with a slightly different capability, slightly different restrictions on how they’re used.
And actually, the best job in the world is getting to know the people, and then getting that person to feel empowered, to feel supported, so that actually, they just deliver far far more than they ever thought they were capable of.
The strength in NATO comes from our diversity, but also from our ability to communicate, understand each other, and to operate seamlessly together.”
