Here he reflects on his experience commanding a multinational flotilla, and the leadership skills that helped him get the most out of his team. And actually, the best job in the world is getting to know the people, and then getting that person to feel empowered, to feel supported, so that actually, they just deliver far far more than they ever thought they were capable of.
The strength in NATO comes from our diversity, but also from our ability to communicate, understand each other, and to operate seamlessly together.”
